A frog with an extremely unusual sex life has given birth to a new species of frog that looks just like the cartoon frog it shares the name with.
The frog, named Pepe, is the first frog to be born in the wild since the frog that was once thought to be extinct, the frog Perenne, died in 2010.
It was named after Pepe, a character from the Nickelodeons hit cartoon, The Princess and the Frog.
“It was a pretty unique experience for me because I never had any contact with the frog before,” Pepe’s creator, Eric Cram, told ABC News.
Cram said Pepe has been nicknamed “Pepe the frog” and has been given his nickname since he was a child.
He said Pepe and his friends had never been seen before and had not seen the world before.
Pepe is the only frog born in Australia, and has only ever been seen in the ponds in the Brisbane Zoo.
But Cram said he was hoping to have a frog born at another zoo soon.
While Cram’s work with Pepe is now over, he said he will continue to look for frogs in his area.
“I would like to see a frog with a very unusual sex, and this frog with its very unique sex life is something I hope to have one,” he said.
“[Pepe] is a really cool character and I hope he will have a long life.”
