The Road Runner cartoon is back after four years in the wilderness after an international campaign.
The animated show, which starred the titular road runner, ran on Cartoon Network from 2011 to 2017 and was the first cartoon series in over a decade to be acquired by Nickelodeon.
Its reopening comes as Nickelodeons parent company Disney is considering acquiring the network.
The acquisition of the network would make it the third major entertainment conglomerate to own a network and would be a major step toward bringing Disney-owned channels to a wider audience.
The network is owned by Disney-ABC Communications Inc., a unit of the Walt Disney Co. The network is a unit or joint venture of CBS Corporation and Disney.
The first-ever live-action film adaptation of the Road Runner series was released in 2013.
It will continue to be broadcast on Disney XD, which will continue with a full slate of original programming.
